As I'm sure many of you know, New York and the rest of the Northeast have gotten a fair amount of snow lately. Brooklyn avoided the worst of the "snowpocalyse," but this is the snowiest February on record and between Thursday and Friday we got around 20 inches. Lots of snow. The best thing about that is that my job follows the openings and closing of the NYC school system, so on Friday I got a snow day. My second snow day in two weeks, actually.
I happily adjusted to being snowed in, and except for a brief foray out for milk and a couple snowballs printed all day long for the last couple days. I needed this snow day too. I accepted a very last minute, very large (for me) rush job a couple weeks ago, and the deadline is, um, now.
Printing this job, as well as still unpacking and settling in, getting Gus acclimated to not being the only cat in town, going to work, and taking a drawing class has kept me pretty busy this last month. Having the snow as an excuse to power through it really helped.
I should be back soon with reports of what I've been printing as well as some guaranteed-to-make-me-jealous-of-myself pictures of my brand new PRESS ROOM.
double kitty trouble! look out!

Post pictures of the press room - very exciting! Judging from your final products and all-around awesomeness, you have excellent taste and it's sure to be beautifully decorated. :)
